QuickFile Downloads

Post by zoom123 »

Everyone seems to be raving about the QuickFile downloads currently being posted in the Pee Movies section (by Wogga and SouthNDixie mainly). Trouble is I can't get hold of any of them. All I get is 'Your ticket ip does not match'. I don't use proxy at all but am on AOL 9 Broadband. Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong or help in any other way. Wogga suggests that Inquisitor UK may be able to help.

Many Tks

its possible that AOL may be using a proxy server at their end. and as this is the case you may not have any choice in the matter.

On the other hand, If you are behind a network address translation (NAT) capable
firewall, then whenever you initiate a request 'out' to the internet,
the firewall makes *temporary provisions for the anticipated result
to flow back 'in'*.

The best (but not perfect) analogy I can give is that if you momentarily
want to leave a rock concert, on your way out the guard can issue you
a unique numbered re-entry ticket. When you get back, you can present
the re-entry ticket to the guard, and he'll "route" you back in. If you
are
a
stranger without a ticket or posses a bogus ticket (it doesn't match any
of the known-to-be-valid tickets), then the guard will have no idea where
to route you, and at minimum he will deny you entry.

in short, it might be your firewall. try setting a rule that allows that site to send and recieve data packets.
