I think I've managed to install the drivers......
Now, can anyone tell me a good prog so I can USE the scanner?
you know a prog allows me to scan, crop resize etc please.

you're quite welcome. I used to work customer service at a computer store, so I know my way around windows and computers.

As for programs, you should try out Photoshop. It should do what you want.
