Hi mocost, all you need to do under firefox
is right mouse click on the picture and select
(Save Image as)

Doesn't work with these links for me either. Just saves a .gif file of 49 bytes, no matter what I try. Weird.

The guys are right. They use a "spaceball.gif" style script to block users from saving the pix. To download the pix, you'll probably need to hack your browser to block that b.gif file. Usually, that's the trick, but I didn't tested it on their site.

For the links you want to save they will look like this

I use Firefox 3.6, and have found that, even with a 6Mb connection, the big pics take a second or two to load, so, if I'm quick, I can right=click on where the image will be, and select Save Image As. I can usually grab the image that way, without having to go into the cache. Good luck!
